OTLEY BLACK SHEEP
This year the venues consist of The Labour Rooms, The Woolpack Music Studios, The Courthouse, The Black Horse, The Parish Church and The Methodist Hall. Chris Newman & Mairead Ni Chathasaig, Phil Beer, Flossie Malavialle and Bill Jones are the headliners.
Thursday 3rd - Sunday 6th October 2019
A well-established festival which upholds the trarditions of English Folk, Song and Dance. Guests include Will Pound & Eddie Jay, Paul & Liz Davenport, Bob & Gill Berry and Keith Kendrick & Sylvia Needham. Plus dance, workshops and live sessions.
Friday 4th - Sunday 6th October 2019
A scaled-down festival with ndividual concerts in Derby Cathedral on Friday evening and Saturday, plus concerts in The Old Bell Hotel on Friday evening, and through Saturday and Sunday.Highlihgts include Ruth Notman & Sam Kelly, Nick Hart & Steve Turner, Kitty MacFarlane, The Willows, Andy Irvine & Luke Jackson and The Urban Folk Quartet.
Friday 18th - Sunday 20th October 2019
A brilliant mix of folk, world and roots music. Artists include Martin Stephenson, Andy Irvine, Belinda O'Hooley, Jim Moray and Reg Meuross.

Penstowe Manor Resort, Kilkhampton
Not to be confused with Bude & Stratton Folk Festival (held in May), this is a three day festival with accommodation. A fine line-up includes The Strawbs, Cara Dillon, Steve Harley, Julie Felix, Katherine Priddy, The Salts, Wildwood Kin, Roger Davies, Daria Kulesh, Honey & The Bear and Said The Maiden.
